Genetics Lecture on Wednesday, November 16th at 5:30 pm. Dr. Tim Gilmour has invited us to attend a lecture by Dr. John Sanford, a famous geneticist visiting from Cornell University (he invented the ‘gene gun’, used in most modern plant research). He used to be an atheist, but is now a Christian. He will speak around 5:30pm to 6:30 or so, at John Brown University, Simmons Great Hall room A (easy to find, inside the main doors of Simmons Great Hall). He’ll be talking about the way modern genetics science supports the Bible. It will be geared toward lay people, not too technical. He wrote a good book a few years ago entitled “Genetic Entropy”, and his website is http://www.
